Position Type
Able to comfortably walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds for most of your shift.
Must be comfortable with enclosed areas and have a steady balance.
Attention to detail and a mindset for doing a great job is a must.
Familiarity with hand and power tools and a desire to learn weatherization techniques.
Experience in construction work environments is preferred.
Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and able to manage time effectively.
Position Qualifications
Perform weatherization project tasks, including, but not limited to:
Loading and unloading project materials.
Setting up project work sites.
Supporting attic and cleaning crews.
Driving company vehicles.
Understand and follow through with instructions from field crew supervisors.
Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and Anura Energy safety procedures.
Use natural problem-solving skills and collaborate as a team to make proper decisions in the field.
Work independently on assigned tasks and represent the company in a professional manner.
Position Responsibilities
The Weatherization Technician works as a part of the weatherization team to install measures designed to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. This individual performs direct service installs to reduce the air infiltration of a building, including the installation of home weatherization materials, minor building repairs, and associated record keeping. Anura Energy welcomes new graduates with degrees in Building Science, Environmental Sustainability, or other related fields to apply.
