Brittin Wood serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Anura Energy. She represents the woman-owned business with a passion for resource efficiency and sustainability. Her responsibilities for the organization include operations management, business development, and strategic planning. With Anura Energy, she is most proud of providing an important service to individuals and communities that might not otherwise receive the resource efficiency, cost savings, and health and safety benefits that come from implemented projects.
Her career includes a combination of professional experience and formal education working to design and give life to sustainability initiatives across several public and private sectors. Brittin's influence has spanned the US and included program development related to energy efficiency, resource conservation, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship for K-12 and higher education entities, event facilities, state government and investor-owned utilities.
Nicholas Wood serves as the Executive Director of ANURA Energy. His responsibilities include overseeing the operations and outreach for the organization. He works on a daily basis with utility energy efficiency staff, program administrators, and planners to design, implement, and evaluate DSM programs. Much of the work is accomplished by developing empirical data, linking with decision-makers, and seeking out and connecting quality trade allies with customer projects that result in measurable benefits for under-served market segments.
With 20 years of professional experience from the architecture and energy efficiency industries, Nicholas has supported the implementation of DSM programs with 18 utilities across seven states. During that time, responsibilities have included business development, administering prescriptive rebate and energy assessment programs, load control, new home construction, and managing custom incentive and trade ally partner network programs. Nicholas serves on several industry boards and committees that contribute to the advancement of energy efficiency across the US.

I joined the Anura family in 2017 and have grown into a great spot as Warehouse Morale Manager. At first, folks thought I had a hard shell, but over time, my winning personality and charm have really helped to motivate the field teams and office staff alike. It’s my mission to keep the crews energized to get out there, do great work, and remind them that ‘slow and steady’ will win the race! When I’m not at the Anura shop, my favorite hobbies are windsurfing and reading the classics.
It’s a great joy to work with the Anura team! Everyone is so welcoming and generous with the cuddles. As the Office Morale Manager, I spend most of my day checking in with the staff to ensure they, too, are as happy as I am. Somedays we go for walks around the block or engage in a pickup game of catch. I find the exercise and fresh air really helps give everyone a mental boost that is essential to productivity. Outside of Anura, I love spending time with my family and chasing after bugs.
